I'm glad you're moving forward with this. I opened paid subscriptions on June 1 but feel like I have sent some mixed messages because of the ick factor. So now I still have a paid option, but it does not gain my subscriber anything. They can pay if they wish to contribute to my world. So far, no takers. And I have a lovely little community. But in this world, if its free, why pay?

You also have a loyal audience. For me, I love your short story idea and think that might gain you some folks looking for short fun reads.

I'm looking forward to whatever it is you decide.

Thank you so much Mimi. You always have good ideas, (another vote for the short, short, short stories!) I need to learn more about what to do with paid subscribers, assuming I get any. And how much to charge? Another nut to crack. What do I have that anyone would want? All big questions, which I've avoided up to now.

Nothing has to be set in stone. Start with your most popular idea and see where that takes you for a few months. You have stronger ideas for paid memberships than I do, so I hope it works out for you!

Not set in stone! Oh, how I love that expression! Yes, we'll have to see what develops. I have a new "iron in the fire" which I will be writing about on Monday. It feels exciting, and a bit daunting. And it involves the book, so there's some intrigue for you!

I am looking forward to Monday!

To be honest Rose 🌹 with all these ideas you have and the responses you get + plus the consistency of your posts...just follow thru... 😉 👍

Thanks Christine. I suppose part of my reluctance to have a paid option (besides the ick factor) is that I'll have to learn what to put in the paid option. And be brave enough to wait for someone, somewhere to say, yes, I'll pay that amount. I find it hard to imagine, but it has worked for others, so... theoretically....

That's a good enough reason Rose - my mantra is Wait until you feel ready/or not…

Go for it, Rose! And yes - a collection of short stories sounds like a great idea.

Thanks Rosy. I guess I am just nervous to be starting it.

Your 50 word stories are so good - like little jewels.

Thanks so much Janet. Maybe I should write enough of them to make a book?
